🕯️ Candle Care Instructions
- Trim wick to 1/4" before and after each burn to reduce soot and extend burn time.
- Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time for best performance.
- Extinguish with a lid or dip the wick into melted wax to prevent smoke.
- Avoid temperature changes; gently wipe off moisture buildup.
- On first use, allow wax to melt edge to edge (1–3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
- If tunneling occurs, warm in oven at 175°F for 5 minutes to level wax.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Your Wood Wick Candle
Issue 1: Over-Trimmed Wick
Problem: Wick won’t stay lit.
Solution: Keep wick slightly longer than 1/8". Adjust for optimal flame.
Issue 2: Wax Tunneling
Problem: Wick burns only in the center.
Solution: Ensure the first burn creates a full melt pool. Keep the wick clean of debris.
Issue 3: Excessive Wax Pool
Problem: Wick drowns in melted wax.
Solution: Remove excess wax using a paper towel or spoon. Ensure proper airflow around the wick.
Pro Tip: If the flame dims, gently tilt the candle to improve oxygen flow. Use caution to avoid spills.
