Candle Care Instructions

• Trim wick to 1/4" before and after each burn.
• Burn no more than 4 hours at a time to maximize candle life and reduce soot.
• Extinguish using a candle lid or dip the wick into melted wax to avoid smoke.
• Allow the wax to melt fully across the surface during the first burn to prevent tunneling.

Fix for Tunneling: Place the candle in a 175°F oven for 5 minutes to level the wax. Remove excess wax if needed.

Troubleshooting Your Wood Wick Candle

Issue 1: Over-Trimmed Wick

Problem: Wick won’t stay lit or drowns in wax.
Solution: Leave wick slightly longer than 1/8" and clean away charred bits.

Issue 2: Wax Tunneling

Problem: Wick burns down the middle, leaving wax along the sides.
Solution: Let the candle reach a full melt pool edge-to-edge on the first burn.

Issue 3: Excess Wax Pool

Problem: Deep wax pool extinguishes flame.
Solution: Use a paper towel to absorb excess wax or remove the top layer with a spoon.

Candle Care Tip: Oxygen is key! If your flame weakens, tilt the candle gently to improve airflow. Use caution to avoid spills.
